Last Days Reminders

Our relationship with God

John 3:16-21

16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.   19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

Our Relationship with the World

Matt 10:16-17

16 “Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. Be as wary as snakes and harmless as doves .

Our Relationship with Each Other

John 13:34-35

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you , so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

The Cycle of Government

The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years.  During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;

From spiritual faith to great courage;

From courage to liberty;

From liberty to abundance;

From abundance to complacency;

From complacency to apathy;

From apathy to dependence;

From Dependence back into bondage

Our Hope is in God

John 14:1-4

14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Keep Peace with Your Soul
John 16:33

33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world .”

    Dear Cynthia, I am here to tell you that Christians are taking their heads out of the sand. I am one looking to heaven as you. I feel sometimes that there are few in this world that knows what we know. If you talk to a stranger on the street, most of the time you will be surprise that they feel the same way as you. Many more things will happen soon. So much to pray for in such a little time we have left. I would say this, be of good cheer — this is the day that the LORD has made, we will rejoyce and be glade in it. Have a great day.
